James S. Robbins is a member of USA Today’s Board of Contributors and former award-winning Senior Editorial Writer for Foreign Affairs at the Washington Times. Previously he worked for 10 years at the Department of Defense in counter-terrorism programs. He is an author, political commentator and professor with expertise in national security, foreign and military affairs, military history, and American politics. He holds a Ph.D. from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
